How to switch colors on the knitting machine

  1. Both yarns must end their rows on the same side, so I recommend doing your stripes in even number intervals.

  2. Once at the end of one row of the yarn in the left tension mast, release the working yarn from the carriage, and bring it behind your project, and the left side of the back of the knitting bed. This keeps it out of the way when working with the right side yarn.

  3. Once at the end of one row of the yarn in the left tension mast, release the working yarn from the carriage, and bring it underneath the carriage and under the back of the knitting bed.

Side Body Seams

  1. Turn the right sides together

  2. Leave 40 stitches on each panel (80 total) for the armpit space

  3. Either sew or slip stitch crochet the sides of the waist together, (i chose slip stitch or single crochet). Single crochet around any carried yarns to incorporate them

  4. Repeat on the other side

  5. Weave in your ends

Shoulder Seams

  1. Turn the right sides together

  2. Sew or slip stitch crochet the sides of the shoulder together for 16 stitches each side, (i chose slip stitch or single crochet)

  3. Repeat on the other side

  4. Weave in your ends

22 st for XXS-XS

26 st for S

30 st for M-L

34 st for L-XL

38 st for XL-XXL

Optional Picot lace edging

  1. Ch 3, slip stitch into the same stitch, slip stitch 2

  2. Repeat until finished

  3. Cut a 4-inch tail

  4. Thread in all your ends with a tapestry needle

And you’re done!

Congrats babe!
